Headlight Complaints 2008 Subaru Outback Driving at night on low beam setting is absolutely dangerous and unacceptable Subaru dealer says they are set correctly. You have to driver with high beams on and that is what the dealer suggested trying. Cannot see beyond forty feet below the car and light above is complete darkness. There is a horizontal line of light and darkness across the center of ones vision
