2007 Suburban LTZ and 26 inch rims, Can I DO it?

I am about to purchase a 2007 Suburban LTZ. I want to put 26 inch rims on it AND lower it. Can this be done when the wheelbase on a Suburban is 130 inches. Please advise!!!!
