1st timer taking trip to nyc

need a reasonable priced hotel to lay head down while sighseeing in nyc on a fixed budget mother and 2 sons so dont want to be in the hood lol really need to be by the metro station also trying to take in a yankees game too wll be traveling in mid april thanks
