Im looking for a horseracing website for the UK that has results, horseracing cards, news and maybe tips? Tips not that important. Have been using sportinglife but don't really like the site much. Any help much appreciated.

Have you tried the Racing Post website? Would've thought most UK people are familiar with that one because it also gets released as a daily horse racing newspaper. A
Anyhow, they have everything your looking for:
Live horse racing results and horse racing cards plus probably the best horse racing news as far as coverage of UK racing is concerned and whilst their main tipping service is membership based (paid) they do offer a daily free horse racing tip.
Off the top of my head I can't really think of another site that offers all that aside from maybe sportinglife which you said you're not into.
