1993f150 extended cab (Mark III) has 5.0L with Hooker headers, GT-40 heads with Ford Racing S/S roller rockers/springs, ported heads, Super Chip, dual exhaust with X-pipe, and 3.73 Cobra rear gears. What else can be done to this 5.0L for increased performance short of replacing it. I 'm told that the Ford F-150 5.0L is limited when it comes to adding performance parts. Is replacing the engine with a later model 4.6 GT(DOHC) or 5.4L a better option? I would appreciate any suggestion(s) or recommendation that may be applicable to the best method of obtaining increased HP/torque out of my 5.0L. Thanks in advance.
