we have a 1955 mercedes 220 4 door with a large retractible sun roof , and the owners manual says it is a 220S series is this possable it is an " s"
in N.A.D.A. I CAN ONLY FIND A 220 A series... can someone shed some light on this quagmire ???
HI, in Mercedes the # describe the capacity of the engine in liters and the firs letter is the body stile. S stand for sedan. so if your car is a four door sedan it will be an S.
thank you Gideon;
then why do they refure to the car as an "A" in the nada guide ?
Hi,
I don't know what is the nada guide never heard about it before. also I never heard about Mercedes model A. model A is ford. always take in consideration if the publication is not by the manufacturer there may by a mistake in description or a printing error.
if I am wrong please let me know.
