A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

15-year-old sold and offered up for rape!

A 15-year-old girl from Pakistan was forced into prostitution in the U.K. by her mother-in-law, The Sunday Times of London reported.

The teen, whose name was not disclosed, arrived in the U.K. expecting to be married to a handsome and successful older man, the paper reported. Instead, she was married to a 40-year-old, unemployed, disabled man with the mental age of a 5-year-old.

The marriage was reportedly not recognized by the British Home Office, but was considered valid under sharia — or Islamic — law.

As if that weren't bad enough, the girl's mother-in-law then decided to take advantage of the teen's youth and good looks by offering her to men looking for sex, The Sunday Times reported.

According to the paper, the family "invited" men to rape her.

The girl eventually escaped her husband's family's home and is now living in a shelter.

How can Islamic law degrade a woman this way? Why is it only in Islamic law that women are treated worse than animals? They are sold and bought with little thought. Isn't there something in the Koran that reminds the male race that women are the ones who are bearing the children and should be treated like queens? Don't they see that women are God's gift to the world? What's wrong with this story?

Think with your head, not your a$$.

I think this is a sick story of how child abuse shows it's ugly face in religion. I hope the people involved in this are put in jail for a very long time.

Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Clearly, there are many people who have totally obscured the meaning of the Koran or who totally ignore the moral values stated in the Koran.  We can see this every day, when fundamentalist Islamic people blow themselves up in public places.  It happened today in Israel.

Islam & the Koran is very, very anti-woman.  If you get a chance, check out the book, "Princess".  It tells you a lot about that religion from the viewpoint of a Saudi Arabian princess.
