A 13 year old girl commits suicide as a result of myspace hoax..

A 13 year old girl named Megan Meier was the victim of a myspace.com hoax.

An overweight and depressed teen, she became friends with a young 16-year-old boy named "Josh".

After befriending "Josh," Josh became mean and began sending nasty messages. As a result of breaking her heart, Megan hung herself. Only after months of grieving have the parents found out that parents of an ex-friend of Megan's were behind the hoax and there was no "Josh."

Neighbors were supposedly "trying to teach teen a lesson." Police say no criminal charges will be filed because there is no proof that this is what caused the suicide.

What do you think? There needs to be accountability, no? Do you think it's absurd that Megan's parents cannot press criminal charges? This family that "tried to teach teen lesson" pretended for sometime to be sorry for the Meier family and sent condolences. What is wrong with people that they can do such a horrible thing?

I think it is disgusting.  These people should be charged, at the very least, with stalking.  Maybe even some kind of predator violation.  It's is unbelievable what people will do to each other and then justify it to themselves.

What has happened to personal responsibility? Megan's parents are more responsible for her death than the neighbor. It is their duty as parents to protect their child. My son was getting death threats at school because of myspace crap, I did not sit around waiting for someone to knife him. I removed and banned him from myspace. I continually monitor his computer and the web sites he visits. No more myspace no more problems!! Megan's parents knew she was suffering. They should have been her comfort not some 'fake' boy. Why were they allowing their depressed daughter to use the internet for emotional comfort when they lived with her? She had cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. They are the people that should have been giving comfort and support. It is sad that a young girl felt so alone in her house full of family that she hung herself. People kill themselves everyday. Some of them are 13 year old depressed girls.

Everyone that was involved should be charged.  They are mean bordering on evil.  Isn't this a hate crime.  The child was on their list because of her weight problem.  Some people have radar and can sort out the weak.

I think that what this young girl went through was very mean and abusive. There are laws in this country to protect individuals from physical abuse. Unfortunately, there are very few if any laws to protect individuals from psychological attackers.

I know this because I have had to endure constant psychological attacks over the last 25 years. I did not do anything wrong to cause these attacks. The psychological attacks started, after I started telling people about a musical mystery I started that was inspired by and is very similar to the Beatles "Paul is Dead" story/hoax.

People will immediately start telling me that I am crazy, delusional, a kook... after I try to explain the mystery to them.

Most people are unwilling to take the time to look at the physical evidence to see it my story is true. Not even the great Sherlock Holmes could solve a mystery without first looking at the evidence.

Below you can look at the first part of the musical mystery I started. You will need to use Critical thinking instead of Emotional thinking to figure out if the song "Athena" is about my poster.

I regret that I was not able to get my story out in the public the night I made this video. If I had, maybe the story of the horrendous torment I have had to endure for the last 25 years, might have given Megan Meier the hope and strength to endure her own situation. Unfortunately we will never know that because Megan is gone.
