10lbs in a week

I am 16 and am goin on a dance trip... i want to lose 10 pounds in a week so i dont look so big...  whats the best way to succed in the weight loss

Add lots of raw or steamed vegetables to your daily diet , cut out soda & carbs (chips, bread, cookies, etc.), and drink plenty of water. Also, try to get an extra 15 minutes of moderate exercise in per day.

When I was your age, I could lose quickly by having a Slim Fast shake & fruit for breakfast, eating a big salad with some added protein at lunch - some turkey, tuna, or boiled egg -, a salad without the extra protein for dinner, and a fat-free fudgsicle when I needed something sweet.

The key is to do it the healthy way, or you may screw up your metabolism for life.  Good luck!

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

First, that type of weight loss at your age is very dangerous. Losing weight and keeping it off is a lifestyle change, not a temporary diet. If you are looking to make the change, I'd suggest reading a great article called Lifestyle Changes, Not Diets, Are Key To Losing Weight that was published on Medical News Today. I think it really sums up the important aspects that most people need to change to successfully lose weight and keep it off. The three points I spend extra time focusing on are portion control, drinking lots of water and making exercise a part of my daily routine (even if it means taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking my car further from the entrance of a store/restaurant).

Fast weight loss isn't a good idea - you should aim for safe,

sustainable weight loss - get to your ideal weight and stay there, so for the next trip you're happy with your shape :) It may sound boring, but it's a good way to do it.  If you really want a quick fix then a detox may help a little - drink lots of water instead of soda, etc, or try a mild sauna, and you could lose some weight in water - but it would only be temporary, and isn't a recommendable solution.

the best way is to become either anorexic or bolemic -_-  just kidding... 10 pounds in a week is quite difficult if not impossible. but what u can do in attempt is to go running for a few miles everyday and drinking lots of H20, especially before meals. Also trying using a weight loss pill or some kind of energy supplement that will fill your body with energy and not put on any calories. Best of luck and don't eat any junk food!

one thing that helped me was to eat fruit and raw veggies, no bread, noodles, or pastry, drink water instead of fruit juice and soda and walk walk walk. good luck and have fun!
