I was watching the 10000 bc trailer the other day. I have a doubt about some of the scenes shown. For example- there are major structure shown.

My question is how reliable the movie is? what do you we really know about the year 10000 bc? were there buildings and other primitive tools shown on the movie?

I think that most archaeologists would not approve this film clip. During that age (probably the New Stone Age or Neolithic) people probably lived in caves or tents perhaps and had polished stone tools.

I don't think this film means to be a documentary but rather make money. The truth is that there are many question marks regarding this period.

I wouldn't watch this movie in the hope of learning how life was back then but rather simply enjoy the film.

There's quite a lot of information from 10 thousands years ago. Don't forget that we have information about certain cultures that were around that time, some of them were already using writing, and left quite a lot of things behind.
