1st DAY: CUSCO – KM 82 – HUAYLLABAMBA

At around 07:30am. our guide will pick you up from your hotel to take you in our transportation to the 82Km. where we will arrive approximately at 10:30 am. In this place we’ll meet the support team that will travel along with us (porters and cooks). Today the trek will be quite easy, with a beautiful view of the snow-capped peak Veronica during the first kilometres, and along the shores of the Vilcanota River until we arrive to the archaeological site of Patallacta.

There we will have lunch to restore strength and then continue to Huayllabamba, to our first campsite.

2nd DAY: HUAYLLABAMBA – PACAYMAYO

The second day of trekking begins right after a succulent breakfast.

This will be a hard day since we’ll have to climb up to 4200 masl, to Warmihuañusca Pass, where we will have a panoramic view of the mountain range to enjoy. After lunch begins our descent to the Pacaymayu Valley, and towards our second campsite.
