I am a born again Christian and truly believe in the truth that a persons' identity in Christ can set them free. We all needed to get a hold of who we are in Christ, and over time, those truths will set us free. If you begin studying all of the scriptures that speak of your identity in Christ, and begin to believe God regarding how he sees you because of you being in Christ, the Truth of that will begin to set you free! We all suffer from wrong thinking at times and will be set free if we come to Christ and allowed him to set us free by correcting our thinking about who we have become in Him.
Jesus says: If you hold to my teachings, then you are really my disciples, then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free" John 8:31. He also said "If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed." John 8:36.
