Love with all my heart, forgive easily & quickly, peace whenever possible, hold tightly onto today, let go of yesterday, embrace each moment, & be a soild ground for my family to fall back on whenever it is needed. And always, always, I am ready to stop the world & listen.
I am diferent to say the least. I've lived a lot of life, some of which I'm not proud of but it is part of who I am today. Therefore I embrace the mistakes along with the victories. I have seen life through many different eyes; gleaning much wisdom & knowledge along the way. I am very good with people, I have never met a person who would not talk to me, I mean really talk. I enjoy meeting & talking with people from all areas of life. The most important things on earth to me are; my Lord Jesus & our realationship, my familiy, & time spent getting to know others we travel this road along side. I am a mighter warrior as well as a profound lover. By lover I mean, I love those in my life, deeply & faithfully. I am a healer, specifically, healing emotions. I do not take any credit for this; it is a gift from God, used only for Him to help others whenever I beleive He has led me to do so. Everyone of us possess unique gifts from God, gifts meant to bring the Lord God honor & glory. But not all of us are aware of this fact & those who are, not all of them use their gifts or possibly do not know how to use them. In this regard, I am also a teacher. I am drawn to the broken hearted, the down trodden, forlorn, forgotten, & lonely. I have 3 grown children & 12 grandchildren. I am VERY blessed. Yet I do have health battles. I suffer from post polio syndrome, diabetes, & of late some serious gasteromical issues. Until a few years ago, I could still walk. I am now in a power chair. And I hate it! I am a very independent person, most able to "get the job done", & refuse to allow my challenges to describe & dictate who I am. I had polio at the age of 16 mo. I've had much time to learn that being considered handicapped is NOT who I want to be! It's merely a small portion of who I am. My time is spent with family, church & church family, friends, I enjoy cooking & growing my own herbs as well as gardening. I adore antiques, to the point that I own a home over a 100 yrs. old. Only I (having the issues I do regarding difficulty in walking, would buy a huge 2 story! HA!) But that's who I am, different as I already stated! I also write poetry & stort stories. And I love to learn, which means I love to read. I have 2 ducks that often swim with me in the pool, a cat, & 2 Mocking Birds I'm slowly taming outside. Their names are Harper & Lee. So guess what my favorite book of all time is & ask me why?
