How about pilates or yoga ? I think there are some 50+ yoga classes.

Yes, he can have soy, rice or almond milk. You might check out vegan food , not to become a vegan, but just vegan recipes do not include any dairy.

Okay I'm scared to EVER eat AGAIN! lol because ...

Just exercise (how about pilates ?) and make sure you're not eating more calories than you're burning. Don't worry about health fads.
