Installation of BootCamp requires a Mac OS X installation on the same drive. You should install Mac OS X first and then proceed to Windows or Linux installation.

Your DVD player is exactly what it is. It plays Standard Definition DVDs only, cannot play DiVX. It also can NOT play HD Disc of any sort. Sure it has an HDMI connector, but that's has nothing to do ...
