If you just look around a bit I'm sure you can do it in your media organizer. You can do it in iTunes very easily.

Cheap and reliable optical mouse

Whatever you do DO NOT get a wireless one. They just eat up batteries like crazy. It's a waste of time and money.

Laptops

Now is not the ideal time to by a laptop. Intel is just coming out with their new processors and windows vista and Mac OS X 10.5. I would wait until the beginning of 2007. Dell and HP are very similar ...
