I am Executive Director and cofounder of Movers & Shakers, a National Parkinson's Disease Support Organization that serves as an information link, referral agency and advocacy group to millions with PD. I am also a former congressional aide and campaign manager with 15 years experience. I am also the Florida State Coordinator for the Parkinson's Action Network and fellow PD patient. Additionally, I am married to someone with PD and am her caregiver as well. Together we have coauthored a book, "Living Well with Parkinson's Disease." I am also the recipient of the cutting edge treatment for PD called deep brain stimulation surgery or DBS.
