About asaraink

I live on Maui and sell the World Famous Banana Bread on the Hana Highway! I weave coconut baskets and Lauhala bracelets; I was on Samantha Brown's Travel show.  I spent a lot of time in college and have a degree in architecture.  I love architecture!  Baking is okay too.

I'm very into organic gardening and self-sustainable living.  I like blue and green.

I love animals, too.  I have a pig; she's great.  I also room with a cat, Kitten, who is beautiful.  I have dogs and I had a rooster, who did alot of work keeping the centipede and mongoose out of my house, and waking me in the morning, telling of rain coming, but he got injured and the darned mongoose got him.

I have some pictures and videos, but I need to upload them to a url, and i think I must have one, at my domain that I'm renting, but I just don't really know when I will do all this...

my website is going to be at nahikurain.com and  another one at  my mac.com site.  I heard it is best to have two, incase one goes down it is already backed.  right?

I have a baby, Na'Uanui  and her name is Hawaiian and it means the big and plenty rains. She just made 18 months; she runs and comes and hugs and kisses and she likes to dance and play in water. She sings and talks alot, but i can't tell what she is saying, I just keep talking back and pretending I understand, agreeing with her or disagreeing with her. We talk for hours like this.

I participate in a writer's group, which I enjoy.  I also wrote an article for the hana Newspaper, but it isn't out yet. I like writing  a lot.  I even went to the Maui Writer's Conference this year. I'm afraid I'm not a very good writer, sometimes.
