About Paul Spurrier

I'm a world class blues and classic rock guitarist.  I've opened for Jimmy Thackery, jammed with Duane Allman, and cover many Hendrix songs in my shows.  I'd enjoy talking with anyone interested in these areas.  I've also taught guitar for over 30 years, specializing of course in classic rock, blues, and slide guitar.  Also:  Attention all musicians:  I'm in search of Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Noel Redding, and Mitch Mitchell.  No, I don't really mean the real guys.  But I am searching for players who can cover Cream, Hendrix, Allman Bros, Blues, and progressive rock music.  I'm located in north central Ohio, but I do have concert type venues available in the Cleveland /Toledo area if I find the right kid of players to back me.   Demo CDs available by request.

Never played lap steel, but I've seen a couple, and they use a solid steel slide. Nice and dense for good tone. Hope this helped. Paul

P-bass neck to J-bass

Tim, Your bass necks should be interchangedable. As long as your necks each require 4 bolts, you should be able to use either neck on either bass. I've switched Tele necks with Strats, and I believe ...
