What is a harry truman 5 dollar silver coin with ...

99% chance it is not silver, unless you have documentation. If you have documentation, then it is worth how much silver is in it. If not, it's really not worth much if you are not in Liberia. Sorry!

Buffalo Coins

The old Buffalo nickels do not contain any silver, but are still worth more than 5¢. However, what you have are common dates. In my shop in average circulated condition, I would pay 25¢ to 35¢.

I believe that is called a "So Called Dollar" (i have no idea!!). You can probably look it up by that, there are books on So Called Dollars.

Explaining death of parent to children

At that age, I don't believe (just my opinion) that they need to know it was suicide, or that they could even comprehend the full meaning of it or what caused it.
