About Martha A. Cheves

I love to cook.  I've had my 1st cookbook published this year and am spending most of my weekends doing signings.  This is going great but I want to expand outside of my local setting.  I have 2 daughters and 1 son who are all grown and the book was originally written for them until a friend convenienced me to share it with others.  I submitted my manuscript to a publisher and they accepted immediately and have me working on a 2nd book.  I've always cooked the way my Mother did, using simple recipes and changing the ingredients to fit my taste.  This is what I try to get across to those who purchase my book and cook from it.  I had a Chef from Johnson & Wells University tell me that his 12 year old son is cooking from my cookbook.  It's that simple.  For more information on my cookbook, visit my website http://stirlaughrepeat.blogspot.com

Hope to see you there

I'm originally from the Atlanta, Georgia area.  Have lived in Utah, Texas, Florida, South Carolina and now live in North Carolina and plan on staying.  I enjoy traveling but would rather do it by car so I can see everything along the way.

I cherish life and what it has to offer.  I believe in finding the best in every situation.  Life is wonderful no matter how bad it may seem.
